GrowUp Aquaponic Urban Farm Produces Sustainable Fish and Vegetables in a Recycled Shipping Container
as stated in the co - founders of GrowUp Kate Hofman and Tom Webster Decided to take an empty car park in central London and transform it into an urban farm built from a specially modified shipping container with a greenhouse on top .
Greenhouse will produce vegetables that will get all the necessary nutrients from waste water from the fish tank is located below . Nutrition meant to nourish plants and in turn, water purifying plants . With a footprint of only 14 square meters , Box blossoms can produce about 60kg and 200kg fish salad every year .
